Main list
Email is an important way for BACIP members to keep in touch with each other. Through the main email list, members can receive important announcements from the Steering Group, and also participate in discussion with other members of BACIP, ask for help, or share information. Posts typically include:
- notification of new research, journal articles, relevant news
- contents listings for relevant journals within psychology and religion
- discussion of hot issues
- adverts for forthcoming conferences or training opportunities
- information about jobs vacant
- requests for bibliographies, references, &c.
The list is currently hosted by Yahoo!, and you can search the archives of past messages or change settings about how often you receive email from the list by visiting http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BACIP/. Please note that if you do not already have a free Yahoo! user identity and password, you will be asked to create an account and link your email address to it in order to view the archives.
If you are already a BACIP member but are not receiving messages, why not join the mailing list now? If you are not yet a BACIP member, you will need to join BACIP before you can access the email list. Click here to join BACIP and for details of the other membership benefits.

Technical note: If you are already subscribed, you can post to the list by sending your message to BACIP@yahoogroups.com. The list is set up to send plain text messages only, so any HTML or attachments will be stripped from your message. This should not normally be a problem. If you do want to distribute a file to the mailing list, visit the URL above and upload a file. Then send a message to the mailing list alerting them that the file is available for download from the website.

Student list
Student members of BACIP have a dedicated mailing list with the aim of providing a supportive forum for Christian students studying psychology to share experiences and resources, ask questions, and be helped to relate their faith and their study while at university. Membership of this group is restricted to students who are members of BACIP, and to other BACIP members with an interest in helping students, so please make sure your full name is obvious to the list moderator when requesting to join!
