Research

One of BACIP's aims is to promoting empirical and theoretical research on the interface between psychology and religion, with a specific emphasis on Christianity. Various BACIP members are engaged in psychology of religion work or research exploring how psychology may be put to the service of the Church, and others take the opportunity of undergraduate research projects, clinical doctorate theses, or PhDs to study Christianity from a psychological perspective (or even psychology from a Christian perspective).

We hope to use this section of the website to start an archive for members' research, and to provide a starting point for students wondering about potential topics for research work. To that end, we will happily host or provide links to descriptions of ongoing or completed research projects, individual manuscripts, or abstracts. Please contribute to the archive by emailing your work as an attachment to . Please note that there is also an opportunity to contribute non-research documents to our Documents section.
