We would like to be able to provide here a collection documents that will be of use to you as a Christian working or studying in psychology. For example (one day!) a series of best practice documents and leaflets answering common questions about being a Christian and a psychologist. In the meantime we are putting up a variety of articles, reports, letters, etc which you might find of interest.
If you know of a document that you think should appear here, please email it to us at administrator@bacip.org.uk.
1. Guidelines on the involvement of Christian psychologists in the provision of psychotherapy and counselling to local church communities (a BACIP document)
2. The Mental Health Foundation’s 2006 Report on Spirituality and Mental Health – from the Mental Health Foundation website
3. Professor Michael Wang (Course Director of Leicester University’s Clinical Psychology Doctorate & past chair of BPS Division of Clinical Psychology) writes a letter about psychology & Christian faith to Clinical Psychology Forum.
